Air Gainer Print E-mail

Start outside the wake cutting hard, and when you get very wide (past 45 degrees) back off your cut, to take the tension off the rope.  Then let go with the hand that is away from the boat, dip down, then back up, and as you get your pop, thrust your hips into the air as you throw your head back.  Look for the water right away, and when you come around, adjust your rotation so that the foil is slightly up in the front, and then stop the rotation by opening up.  Keep your elbow close to your side the entire time.  Keep in mind that to speed up your rotation you can tuck up into a ball, and push down on the handle.  Too slow it down, open up your body.  Adjust as needed.

When you are back on the water after landing, regrab the handle with both hands, and go back to your normal ride position, and foil away.
