This was posted to the Chair Chatters list Today. Thought someone else might like to hear about it. On the stealth, the wings are a bit smaller than some of the other models out there. So, you have to increase the speed in order to get the foil to stay on the top of the water. It is similar to barefoot waterskiing. The bigger the foot, the slower you can go, unless you are a bigger person, then it is a wash. So, the bigger you are, and the smaller your wings, the faster you have to go to skid. I usually had to go 25mph on the stealth to skid comfortably. When you go for the skid, you jump a bit to get the foil out of the water. only a foot or less is preffered. Then when you are out of the water, you have to lean back, and push the handle down onto your belt line. keep your shoulders back, and keep still. you steer with your shoulders, and just a bit of lean goes a long way. I actually push down on my feet to get my shoulders back far enough to keep the front of the front wing from dropping down. Hope this helps! |
